Today I got a very lovely package from Maxiesmama! Thank you so much Abby. I love presents and soup is just what I needed on this yucky day. :-)

Thinking of you, and hoping the days have been passing without complication. I was trying to read your surgery update earlier, but Miss M keeps trying to join in! It is hard to take in how much you've been through xx
we ate the soup and it was lovely. really tasted homemade! the bread was very nice, too. i love chicken soup!
yesterday was just plain horrible. my NS has decided not to see me until my 2 week follow up. on the drive up to see them yesterday we ran off the road because Pete...er...drifted and when i called them to try to push the appointment up further in the day they told me not to bother coming in, that they would just see me next week. luckily, my PCP sorted me out today. i am just goig to get continual care from my local unversity hospital for the leak and other problems. today is slightly better though. it's pete's birthday and the kids and i got him a ice cream cake. :-)
